CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR RETIREMENT
Please consider this letter an invitation to join our Retiree’s Club. IAM Lodge 660 established our own Retiree’s Club in 1968. We meet at Machinists Hall 660,
161 N. Shamrock St., East Alton, IL the first Wednesday of each month at 10:00 A.M. We each bring a covered dish and meat. Our program begins with a short business meeting on many subjects important to retired members. We then have a period to socialize among the members, as we prepare to have our potluck dinner, which starts at 12:00 noon. After our delicious dinner, we conclude the meeting with a round of Bingo playing until 2:00 P. M.
Any person who is a Retired Member of Lodge 660, I.A.M.A.W and their spouse are eligible for membership in our Club. In addition, parents of Lodge 660, I.A.M.A.W. members are eligible to join. Our Club dues are $8.00 per year per member. We also take a collection of 25 cents from each member for our Flower Fund.
We hope you and your spouse will pay us a visit at our next meeting every 1st Wednesday of the Month, we would be happy to have you come and get acquainted. In case of inclement weather, check the Alton radio station WBGZ, 1570, to see if the meeting has been cancelled.
